Exclusive: The Relationship Bloggers Marketing Academy

Hi. You’re probably here because you have something to say but you literally have no idea how to get it out there right?

Take me. I’ve had so many things to say for a good four years now. I wanted to enact change, any change. Just help someone be better at anything they want to be. It’s been a lifelong dream and passion of mine. To be heard, and help people. I’m kind of one of those people that feeds from that, so it’s always been at the back of my mind to do this. And well, I’ve finally achieved it.

But it wasn’t easy. No, no, no.

I bet there’s a few of you out there that are still trying to find their place in all this, have so much to say but no-one is reading. I get that. My material is solid, and, it can help a good few people when applied, but did anyone want to read me? No chance. Why? When there’s so many other great content out there for you to grab from. I’m just a one man show. Who the hell am I anyway?

I get it. I mean I really do.

Three years ago when I was made redundant from my job I knew I wanted to take to the web, and I had some interesting ideas how to go about it. The passion was raw and I was ready to go. I took my keyboard to the computer and started bashing a few posts, confident that I would be read by thousands and thousands. It was quite a surprise when I barely reached 10 views on a super good day. Yep, and it was quite a bad experience when I realised that thousands upon thousands, no, perhaps millions of people were doing the same thing as me. It sort of started to become very frustrating. For the first time ever I contemplated the small-sizedness of me in comparison to the entire world. Yes, it’s bloody huge.

For many months I ploughed out material, becoming more disheartened by each and every post, seeing my visitors dwindle and barely hit one or two people. It’s hard, really, when SEO is a professional game and I had no clue about it really. It had me angry and frustrated for quite a few months, that my content was top class spot on, and there were people out there that had squillions of viewers, and they were spreading misinformation. Ah, if only the world was idealistic, right?

It all changed when I actually discovered how to properly market. You see, regardless what anyone tells you, blogging is about 10% writing and 90% getting yourself out there. Talking to new people, learning new tactics and avenues to spread your content over the web. And it can be done, with minimal cost too, if your content is strong enough. Content is key, though! Anyone can set up a site with minimal effort and drive millions of people there, but if it sucks, then, they won’t stay.

Whatever you do, don’t get caught in the trap of asking yourself what if my content isn’t good enough. Chances are, if you’re spending time on your content and it’s something that you truly believe in, I’m betting there’s millions of others that think the same as you. You only need to get them onto your site, and keep them there.

My blog has between 20 and 30,000 engaged visitors monthly now.

So. First things first.

As a bonus, I’m going to give you my valuable £30 Traffic from Pinterest Udemy course absolutely free if you sign up for my Marketing newsletter. Not 50%, not 75%, FREE. As a thank you for being a great guest. Sign up here.

Pinterest was the first avenue I walked down, and I was amazed at how super easy and instantly it was to gain traffic from them. I was seeing extra traffic each day and every day since then, and it’s only went up and up until I’m nearly hitting 500 hits from them daily. It takes time, though. That wasn’t overnight this happens. And, of course, networking with the right people on Pinterest.

Pro tip: Add value, solve problems, give people what they want to know.

I’ll be posting here once a week from now on, but you’ll get more from newsletters. We’ll dive deep into methods, psychology and what to be wary of. I’ll take you on a rollercoaster ride of awesomeness so you’re essentially on the same wavelength as me. And the best thing? I’m learning something all the time. And if I learn it? You bet I’ll be pushing it to you. But that’s only for my newsletter.

If you don’t want to sign up to my newsletter that’s completely awesome but you’ll have to wait until saturday for the training and it won’t be nearly as in depth. I know, I’m a pain. But you know, I can’t be giving all my exclusives away!

Stay with me though because it won’t stop at Marketing, a large part of what I do is the way I write to people and the tricks and methods that I’ve learned to essentially captivate and inspire my readers, in a good way of course.

I hope you enjoy!

Special thanks to Shawna Ainslie from the Honeyed Quill, owner of Linkyourlife Facebook group for gifting me with this gem. I’ve been looking for a way to expand for months. You’ll also find me, all the work I do and this Academy in there too.

Thank you.
